Thank G-D for Tisci! The perfect mixture of prep, punk, and extremely well cut garments make up Givenchy’s Men’s resort 2012 collection. It’s not an easy thing to drive one of the most notable high fashion brands in the world mostly on graphic prints, but that man does it (and very well)! The rest of the line releases early next year - can’t wait to see more of this perfection!

JASON WU FALL/WINTER 2012.13
Y-E-S! Jason Wu put on quite a smokey spectacle today at the runway showcase of his latest Chinese military infused collection. The fabrications Wu used were luxurious and included silks, velvet’s and leathers. Wu stuck with classic, lady-like silhouettes in his mainly black, red, and gold collection and modernized them through intricate details (such as that amazing embroidery). A+! Definitely a favorite so far this NYFW!
“THE TENTS” - A NYFW FILM
New York Fashion Week is in its fourth day and here is a little something to remind us where it all began. “The Tents” is an interesting documentary directed by James Belzer and Marcus Jones cataloguing the birth of Fashion Week and its expansion using intimatie interviews with industry leaders such as Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, Betsey Johnson, Nina Garcia, Carolina Herrera, and more. LINDSAY LOHAN BY TERRY RICHARDSON FOR LOVE MAGAZINE
Lindsay Lohan and Terry Richardson have teamed up for yet another shoot. This time, British LOVE Magazine shoots her for their “After Taste” issue. As Lohan has been pretty hit or miss in appearance lately, she’s definitely looking quite beautiful in this spread! Let’s face it. The old Hollywood, dirty chic, monroe-esque look just works very well for Lohan! The LOVE Magazine ‘After Taste’ issue is now on newsstands.

What a nice way to end NYFW! Jeremy Scott’s Fall 12 collection screams psychedelic cartoons on acid, and I LOVE it! Fun and vibrant colorful prints were seen on virtually every garment from sweaters to pants to footwear. Unicorns, pixelated icons, and colorful fur was also seen in the collection. Definitely not attire for the modest! Peep the footage of the full show (above)!
INSTAPRINT (PRINT YOUR INSTAGRAMS!)
Calling all Instragram lovers! How freaking cool is this?! Instaprint is a concept printer which would allow anyone at a specific event to wirelessly print their Instagram photos. All they would have to do is tag the photo with a specific location or hashtag - any photo tagged appropriately will automatically be printed out on inkless paper.
The project is currently on Kickstarter, aiming to raise $500,000. If you want to be the first with one of these, you can pre-order different sized and capability printers through Kickstarter now. Prices start at $399.
JASON WU x KAWS NOW AVAILABLE
Last September during Spring 2012 fashion week, Jason Wu showed his collection of womenswear. As usual, the entire collection was consistent and nothing less than chic quality; but three pieces in particular stood out more than any of the others and that’s because they were examples of his recent collaboration with the prolific KAWS!
The Brooklyn-based artist worked with Wu on a dress, blouse and a pair of shorts. There’s no mistaking his unique cartoonish touch on each garment. These items are now available at colette.
